Sleep is important, but you already know that.
But what if I told you that sleeping on a good mattress can impact your surfing performance for the better?
If you think I'm lying, think again...

I thought the statement was bluff and an attempt to sell me a new mattress, but having been a surfer for almost 20 years, I'm always looking for ways to improve my performance.
I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new mattress. I picked the Casper mattress after reading a review about it and the first night of sleep that I had was stellar.
Now the difference is night and day. It's like the difference between a wicked hangover from going out and partying my English ass off and, well, not doing that. The latter feels oh so much better.
The coolness of the mattress compared to the cold water splashing on your skin while surfing, and the bed was not too hot, a problem I often times have. I decided to permanently switch over to the Casper mattress and now I wake up feeling more refreshed and energized, ready to take on whatever I have planned for that day.
I have found that my surfing performance has increased and my alertness has allowed me to maneuver my board more accurately.
All in all, for professional surfers, I recommend that you try to find the best mattress because we sleep more than we surf (well, for most of us anyway) and it's important to be refreshed and have your best sleep to tackle the waves the next day.
